Torquil Tree Vessel series

Originally developed during an artist residency at Torquil Pottery, and inspired by interesting trees encountered on local walks, each tree is hand-painted and grows organically as the painting process evolves.

Each tree is unique, and the rim of the vessel uses a precise erosion process to create an echo of the horizon line in the distance.
